We tested a number of banner creatives on diabetes specific websites. Concurrent with the banner ad flights, we also launched an SEM campaign.
Our test program showed limited promise for banner ads within the client’s marketing budget. So instead, all marketing resources were put into the paid search campaign - with adwords running on Google and Yahoo. Seeing a CTR of 2.9%, and an average conversion rate of 2.7%.
